Home of the AHS Warriors Girls and Boys Swim & Dive Teams

Every Wednesday the athletic office checks eligibility on all student-athletes.

• Those swimmers/divers with Ds and Fs are posted/communicated to the coaching staff.
• Students that have 2 or more Fs are declared ineligible to compete the following Monday-Saturday. 
• Ineligible students may attend practice provided they can balance practice and raise their grades. 
• Should the two Fs be a mistake, or a temporary situation, the ineligible student is advised to meet with their teachers to resolve the problem and take a note to Mrs. Janelle Weems in the Athletic office prior to 3 pm deadline on Friday. 
• If the situation is resolved appropriately, a note from Mrs. Weems will need to be delivered to the coaching staff. If not resolved accordingly, the student-athlete will be withheld from the following week’s meets as a consequence for low grades/responsibility. 
• Participation is a privilege and must be the responsibility of the individual student-athlete.
