Taylor Watson Volunteer Coach: Boys Team

Hello! I am Taylor Watson. I graduated from Arapahoe High School in 2012. I was a dual sport athlete during my time at Arapahoe. I played Football and swam for our Varsity team for four years. My senior year, I was a Captain of the swim team. This was by far the greatest experience of my high school career. I was blessed to be a part of an incredibly special team with a great group of men.

Athletics and school never came easy to me. I worked my butt off to be a state qualifier in the 100 breaststroke. To this day, that moment is still one of my fondest memories and I credit my team for believing in me to achieve that goal. I had to learn how to be successful and built my achievements from hard work, dedication, and commitment. I know what it takes to fight through hard times and persevere through pain. The key ingredient is Heart. My job was to inspire my team in 2012 and I was known for presenting motivational speeches. I look forward to instilling the values, culture, and heart into future teams at Arapahoe High School and showing our great community what it means to be a Warrior!

I studied at Colorado State University and graduated with a bachelor’s in business management with a concentration in Corporate Finance and Investment Analysis. I was an active member of Theta Chi Fraternity a leadership and involvement fraternity. I continued to deliver motivational speeches and began my career in investment management through CSU’s Summit Fund.

I currently serve the Colorado community as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones since graduating. My office is headquartered in Castle Pines, Colorado. I work extremely hard to care for my family and give others a hand up. It is my pleasure to be able to give back to the Arapahoe Swim Team. This will be my fourth-year volunteer coaching for the team. I have worked with the coaches and parents to establish the Heart of a Warrior Scholarship. I am extremely excited for how far we have come with the fund and look forward to the legacy we can build for future Warriors. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to get involved with the scholarship our have additional questions. It comes from the heart!

Go Warriors!

Christine Maybee JV Head Coach: Girls Team

I am Christine Maybee! I graduated from Arapahoe High School in 2015. I swam for three years of high school on the varsity team; unfortunately taking off my junior year for a full rotator cuff repair.

I was, and still am in love with the 100 butterfly. I was a high school state qualifer in the 100 fly, as well as a club state qualifier in the 200 butterfly. To be sure, I have experienced the challenges brought on by a career changing injury and I know the effort and patience it takes to overcome!

I attended University of Wyoming and graduated in 2019. My major was business management with a concentration in consulting. In addition, I was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and went on to get my paralegal license at Front Range Community College.Soon there after, I worked for a small personal injury firm as a legal assistant

Currently, I am an assistant paralegal for Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell - a large defense firm in Downtown Denver.

I coached at Homestead Farms II as an assistant and head coach. Most recently, I was an assistant coach for the 2019-20 Fort Collins High School girls swim team.

I look forward to sharing and passing on my love and passion for the sport of swimming and have found coaching high school to be my favorite coaching experience.

Finally, I am beyond excited to return home to Arapahoe to assist with coaching the Junior Varsity girls. Please always feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Go Warriors!
