Dear AHS Swim & Dive Parents,

We are looking for a few volunteers to help us out this season. Please consider giving us a little of your time to make this season as fun and memorable as possible for our girls!!

Parents of Freshmen and Sophomore Swimmers, please consider joining our Tech Team!! It is a great volunteer role that allows you to be part of the meet and watch from the best view in the pool. It sounds intimidating, but it’s not a difficult role and we have a very experienced coach and fellow parents to train you.

We are also looking for a couple of parents to help us get our Felt Pennant kits organized, distributed and then collected after they are completed. For those who are new to the team, each year parents prepare a felt pennant with their athlete’s name and best time/score. We usually display these at the banquet and then the girls receive theirs as a keepsake. We may not have a banquet this year, but we still want the girls to have these treasured keepsakes! We are looking at other alternatives to display the pennants when they are complete.

Last, we are looking for a few parents to help us compile the memory book that we publish each year. This book includes pictures from each meet and information about the highlights of the season. We have purchased software that makes it easy to assemble the book, but we need parents who are willing to help complete a few pages. We are also looking for someone willing to oversee the production of the book next year.
