AHS Girls Swim & Dive Booster Meeting - 1/12/22

Reminder:  Booster Club Meeting 6:30pm this Wednesday 12th at Panera Bread on Holly/Orchard. If you like any topics added to the agenda please let Cindy know.

Treasurer 

  • Brick donation 
  • Payment for equipment and coaches 

Warrior Invite 

  • Hosting 11 teams (including AHS) and using 9 lanes, correct? 
  • Are other teams providing timers? 
  • Concession- Do we have enough for both morning and afternoon? 
  • Dive - Are you set for hospitality in the afternoon? 
  • List of volunteers for entry. 

Senior Honor Night 

  • Arapahoe vs. Mullen - January 25. 
  • Who does this(announcer)? 

A League 

  • Melony”s updates 
    • T-Shirts
    • Sponsorships 
  • Hospitality 
    • Can Swim cover Friday night & Saturday lunch/dinner (1 meal)? 
    • Can Dive cover Saturday morning? Einsteins and Starbucks may donate Need to call 
    • Plan for approximately 40-50 coaches  &  officials? 
    • We provide pass-around snacks to timers (and officials?) - Should we get a volunteer to purchase donations? ( mini waters, grapes, almonds, craisins, trail mix) 
  • Concessions 
    • Friday goes late and is at dinner-time; discuss what to add to concessions, i.e Chick-fil-a? 
    • Dive - You may consider contacting Einstein's for bagel donations? Will you provide volunteers to cover? May need to update Swimtopia for volunteers 
    • Saturday Swim - it’s afternoon/evening so people can eat afterwards; plus it’s a smaller crowd, Varsity pizza(they are a big sponsor) ? 
  • Volunteers 
    • Meeting after Mullen meet for parents of A League qualifiers for volunteer sign-up 
    • Committee Leads need to verify what’s in Swimtopia is what they need (A League, Dive, Concessions, Timers, Tech Team) 
    • Do we only cover two Back-Up Timers and Lane 8 still this year
    • Concessions/Hospitality/T-shirts are 2 shifts - should timers be 2 shifts? 
  • Dinner on Saturday night for girls at Red Robin (the girls arrange?) 
    • Dinner place for Parents: Varsity Inn 
  • Layout of pool area for Janelle - deadline? 
  • Hang the girls signs 
  • Seating: Do we save for AHS: can we save for teams or make a recommendation
    • Mike can you email coaches about when spectators can arrive.
