We are already into our 3rd week and there is a lot going on! PLEASE read this entire email and look for links to volunteer.

News & Announcements:

  • Meet vs Boulder and Monarch
    Thursday, March 10th at VMAC in Thornton at 2 pm
    Please Note: early dismissal from class has been arranged at 12:15 pm
    Departure from the West AHS parking lot is scheduled for 12:30 PM
    Coach Randy Hyre and the team captains are organizing the rides to VMAC

    Parents and student athletes MUST let Coach Richmond know if they will be unable to attend Thursday.Entered Swimmers and Divers that do not attend the meet will have to sit out the next meet.

  • Arapahoe Relay Meet - Saturday, March 12th at Arapahoe

    ADMISSION: Adults $5.00; students with I.D. $5.00. No passes will be accepted for this meet. Tickets will be sold at the door.

    CONCESSIONS: There will be a full line of concession items available.
    No food will be allowed in team areas or on the deck.

    MEET SCHEDULE:
    7:00 a.m. Pool opens for diving warm-up.
    8:00 a.m. Dive entries due - last changes must be made before 8 am
    9:00 a.m. Diving begins

    Upon conclusion of diving, swimming warm-up may begin..
    11:30 a.m. Coach meeting - Swimming pool office
    12:00 p.m. Swim relays timed finals begin

    WARMUP: Warm-up will be allowed during the designated warm-up, and during the 15-minute break after event #8. There will be no swimming warm-up during diving competition

    SEATING: Seating in the pool area is limited. The bleachers are reserved for spectators.
  • Monday, March 14th – Picture Day:
    We will do pictures at the start of practice.

  • Monday, March 14th – First Team Feed of the Season!
    The Pope Family has generously offered to our first team feed.
    When: 6:30 PM (or as soon as practice is over)
    What: Mac & Cheese Bar from Noodles & Company
    Where: Pope’s House – 5222 E Maplewood Place, Centennial 80121

  • Monday, March 14th: Come to Noodles & Co. – 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM – 2370 E Arapahoe Rd. Ste 926 for our No Cook Restaurant Event – Be sure to mention AHS Boys Swim and Dive to get money donated back to our team!
  • We could still use some help with morning breakfast feeds:We need volunteers and donations!

Notice the above daily attendance rates at Arapahoe HS.

Our swimming practices should be aligned with the rates above.

Friday and Saturday we were approximately 60%😐🤔
