Arapahoe Boys Swim & Dive Team Newsletter – Volume #6
Week of April 11, 2022

We’re heading into another great week of swimming! PLEASE make sure to read this entire email and look for links to volunteer.

News & Announcements:

• Thursday, April 14^th – Swim Meet vs Grandview at AHS – 5:00 PM
  We will need volunteers so please check your email and the website to get signed up!
• Saturday, April 16^th – Morning Practice
  We will practice 8-9:30 am on Saturday, followed by the video
  "From Water to Wood" - an inspirational video about the University of Arizona's pursuit of the NCAA Div I trophy
  Breakfast following workout prior to the video.
  
• Monday, April 18 6:30 PM – Felt Pennant Help
  All swim and dive parents are invited to come socialize and help cut felt for the boy’s swim pennants. We will be meeting Monday, 4/18 at 6:30 pm at the Roswech Home - 2559 Cove Creek Court, Highlands Ranch.
  If anyone has questions or gets lost the night of the event, they are welcome to call Meg at 303-478-6524. Appetizers, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. We will be cutting felt, so if any parents have sewing scissors or other sharp scissors they can bring, it would be appreciated!
  
• Tuesday, April 19^th – Board Meeting
  Parents, please attend the next swim board meeting
  Tuesday, April 19th
  6:00-8:00 PM
  at the Bosley home. - 5925 E Nichols Ln, Centennial, 80112.
  We would love your input and feedback and are also looking for people to shadow board members this season. We will have five open positions to fill next season - president, Vice President, treasurer, member at large and dive rep.

Coach’s Update: Richmond is strongly encouraging any A League or B League qualifier to get a tech suit. There will be a handful of lightly used tech suits for those who wish to use them. Information from Swim N Things is below.

If the suit is not in stock, it usually takes between 10 days to 2 weeks to receive.

Swim N Things only stock Arena and Speedo tech Suits, so orders from TYR will need to be shipped.
