Wednesday, March 22 – Picture Day!

Friday, March 24 – Dick Rush Memorial Coaches Invite - DIVE

  • At VMAC - 5310 E 136th Ave, Thornton, CO 80241
  • 2:30 PM - Warmup
  • 4:00 PM – Start
  • Admission - $5 per session
  • DOORS WILL OPEN TO ALL COACHES, COMPETITORS AND SPECTATORS AT 2 pm Friday

Saturday, March 25 – Dick Rush Memorial Coaches Invite - SWIM

  • At VMAC - 5310 E 136th Ave, Thornton, CO 80241
  • 7:00 AM - Warmup
  • 8:30 AM – Swim Prelims Start
  • 2:30 PM - Warmup for Finals swimmers
  • 3:30 PM – Finals start
  • Admission - $5 per session
  • DOORS WILL OPEN TO ALL COACHES, COMPETITORS AND SPECTATORS AT 6:30 AM Saturday

SPRING BREAK SCHEDULE


Swimming

  • Saturday, March 25 – Dick Rush Memorial Coaches Invite Meet @ VMAC
    Coaches Invite Qualifiers Only - Prelims 8:30 AM – Finals 3:30 PM
  • Mon, March 27 – Tues, March 28 - No practice
  • Wed. March 29 – Sat. April 1 – Practice 8:00 AM – 10:15 AM
  • Thursday, March 30 – Arapahoe vs Overland @ AHS – 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday March 31 – Sat. April 1 – Grand Trail Classic Meet - @ Cherokee Trail
    A prelims session - Friday, March 31st - Finals scheduled for Saturday, April 1st.
    Note:     we may not attend the meet as it will depend on the team's attendance the week of spring break.

  • ATTENDANCE
    Coaches need a note excusing swimmers by Thursday, March 24th if they are not planning to attend the home meet vs. Overland on the 30th.
  • **Your coaching staff and the captains consider it important that swimmers attend at least three of the planned workouts the week of spring break.


Diving

  • Friday, March 24 – Dick Rush Memorial Coaches Invite @ VMAC
    2:30 – Warm up – 4:00 PM Start
  • Diving practice is TBD - will send this out as soon as we have the schedule.


Tech Suits
Richmond is strongly encouraging any A League or B League qualifier to get a tech suit. There will be a handful of lightly used tech suits for those who wish to use them. Information from Swim N Things is below.

This link shows availability at the factory for TYR and Arena as of today.

Tech Suits are also available at Swim N Things.
If the suit is not in stock, it usually takes between 10 days to 2 weeks to receive.

Swim N Things only stock Arena and Speedo tech Suits, so orders from TYR will need to be shipped.

Volunteering Update

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help at one of our meets or volunteer in a non-meet capacity!!  We hope each family will take the opportunity to volunteer at least twice this season, one meet and one non-meet event.

Our Team feeds are covered! Thank you to those who signed up to host!

**Because our team is small we need EVERYONE to pitch in and sign up for something!

Here is this week's highlight of the needed volunteer position:
Senior Night Coordinator- We have 4 dedicated Seniors. Help to make this night special for them and their families on April 20th. Order balloon arch for photos and flowers for parents. Organize team photographer for pictures and organize senior pictures and bios for slideshow. Order gifts for 4 Seniors. Approx time commitment-2hrs. Could be split by two people.

Morning Breakfasts
We could still use some more help!Boys are hungry after swim practice and with everyone's help we can feed them breakfast before they head-off to class.
