Week of March 25th

Hello Swim & Dive Athletes & Families,

Hope you are all enjoying your spring break! As a reminder, practice resumes tomorrow (Wednesday, March 27^th) at 8:30am. There is a meet with Overland High School this Thursday! Yes, there is practice that morning on a meet day. Attached are first draft entries for this meet. Swimmers must contact Coach Richmond as soon as possible if you cannot attend. Relays will be completed tomorrow after entry roster is confirmed. You will need to organize your rides to/from Utah Pool (across from Overland High School).

Looking for helpers! Arapahoe is hosting a large invite on April 6^th and need all the volunteers! Please check out the available jobs by looking for the green “Job Signup” box on the right hand side of the AHS Swimtopia home page to see if you can help in any way.

Morning Feeds

• Thank you for all of your help so far this season! The boys have been well fed. We have just a few more spots left in April for morning feeds if you are able to help. Sign up here.

Heart of the Warrior Scholarship: Seniors—our booster club offers a $500 scholarship to one deserving senior who has the “Heart of a Warrior.” Learn more here. Senior applicants must submit the following to Kim Gayeski by April 19^th so the board has time to review the submissions:

• Letter of Recommendation from at least one teacher at AHS
• A statement from the athlete applying for HOW stating:
• “What it means to be a Warrior” to that swimmer/diver personally
• How he has demonstrated leadership as an athlete and student to the team, coaches, and parents
• How he has contributed to or has improved the culture of their AHS team
