Greetings AWSDT!

Our AHS Athletic Trainer, Katie Wallace, has given me a list of athletes who need to complete the ImPACT testing on Wednesday, November 20th at 4:00pm in Room #W1529.  The ImPACT is a concussion baseline test and is done at a computer. The ImPACT results will be used if an athlete experiences a blow to the head and is put in concussion protocol.

The following athletes should report to practice on Wednesday at 3:55 at the pool and then will proceed to the test as a group.  ImPACT Testing Varsity and JV swimmers will return to practice after the test.  ImPACT testing divers will practice at their normal time on Wednesday. This testing needs to be done every 2 years - which typically breaks down to Freshman and Junior year, but not always. Without a current ImPACT test on file, athletes are not permitted to compete in swim/dive meets.  Let me know if you have questions!
