Hello Swim & Dive Athletes & Families,
This week will be very busy with the start of our swim and dive meets. There are many opportunities to volunteer this season, and we really appreciate all our volunteers. We have identified which meets will be JV and/or Varsity to help you decide the best days to volunteer. We still need volunteers for the meets this week! We will not have morning practice on the day of a meet, so you will notice that morning practice will move this week to Wednesday, 12/4 at 715am (Pictures followed by practice).
News & Announcements
- Swim and Dive Meet Volunteer shifts are open for the December meets! When you view the calendar, you will see the green button that says job signup. Please sign up! We ask that every family volunteer at least 3 times throughout the season. We are currently missing some dive shifts, timing shifts, photographer shift for 12/3 and a photographer shift for 12/5.

- Our first Arapahoe Girls Swim and Dive Team Feed will be on Wednesday, 12/11 at Heritage Greens Clubhouse at 615pm (following practice)
- Concessions – AHS will be hosting three major meets this season. Your contributions will help offset the cost of running the concession stand at these meets with all profits going back to the team!
- Breakfast Sign up – We love to provide breakfast for our morning practices. It is not easy to wake up and be at practice on time, so we want to ensure they have a good breakfast before they start their school day. Tuesdays are Varsity only (34 girls) and Fridays are JV/Varsity (72 girls). You can sign up on your own or with a group of parents. Thank you for your help!
- We have launched the Capital Campaign for the Arapahoe Girls Swim and Dive team. As previously communicated, we have some critical upgrades (scoreboard, starting blocks) needed this season to improve our program. Please consider giving or sharing with family and friends.

Upcoming Events
- 12/3 – First Home Girls Swim and Dive Meet vs. Cherry Creek
- Arapahoe Swimming warm up at 355pm – 425pm. Diving portion of the meet will begin at 5pm. Following the diving portion, there will be a 15-minute warm up period.
- 12/3 – No morning practice on the day of a meet
- 12/3 - Dine Out at Chick Fila Southglenn 5pm-8pm - Must use the App and use the promo code AWSDT!
- 12/4 – Varsity AM Practice added and Pictures for All Seniors, Varsity Swim and Dive at 715am
- 12/5 – Away Girls Swim and Dive Meet vs. Cherokee Trail
- 12/10 – Team social at AHS Boys basketball game at AHS at 7pm
- 12/10 – Colorado Gives Day
- 12/11 – Team Feed # 1 at Heritage Greens Clubhouse
- 12/12 – Arapahoe vs. Smoky Hill at AHS Pool
- 12/14 – Arapahoe Relays
- 12/21 – Coach’s Invite – Qualification Meet at VMAC
