Greetings AWSDT!

Thanks to everyone who helped make yesterday's relay meet a fun event with lots of smiles and laughter... and some great swims too! Meet Results are attached!

Final exams are this week! Good luck to all our student/athletes! Reminder - there will be no morning practices this week for Varsity! Varsity swimming will practice from 3:55 - 5:55pm Mon - Thur, and from 3:55 - 5:30 on Friday. On Saturday, Varsity swimmers not going to Coaches Invite will practice with JV.

Coaches Invite is this Saturday and more details about the meet will come later this week. The current Coaches Invite Entry Report is attached (individual events only) and needs immediate review for accuracy. For this meet, qualifying times achieved at USA Swimming Club meets are acceptable. However, we do not have a full and accurate reporting of times achieved at club meets so we are asking for everyone's help. If you have provable qual times not included in the attached entry report, please e-mail me immediately with the details (event, time, and meet). We must be able to prove any qualifying times that were achieved at club meets or risk a $25 fine. Qualifying Times are attached - Coaches Invite is the right-hand column. Relays for Coaches Invite will be announced by Tuesday night. It is possible we will take relay only swimmers who may not appear on the attached entry report. As a note - all swimmers qualifying for finals at Coaches Invite are expected to compete in finals! Meet Information (The Rex Swim Meet) is attached.

Our focus this week in practice will be on excellence. My belief is that excellence is not an act, but a habit! Watch this three-and-a-half-minute video title "Ode to Excellence" if you need a little motivation for finals week!
