Greetings AWSDT!

Holy cow, do we have a busy week ahead of us!  This Monday, Jan. 19, at 9:00am we will be taking our entire team photo (Varsity, JV, & Diving), followed by Freshman - Juniors individual photos.  Photo forms have been distributed!  Immediately after pictures, Varsity swimmers will swim for one hour (estimated 10:30 - 11:30am).  Diving and JV have distributed their practice intentions for Monday separately.

This Tuesday we will host Eaglecrest at 5:00pm.  The meet will start with diving, swimming events will follow at approximately 5:45pm.  The lineup for the Eaglecrest meet will be distributed when it becomes available.  All swimmers will warm up from 3:50 - 4:20pm on Tuesday.

Because of Tuesday's meet, Varsity's Tuesday morning practice will slide to Wednesday at 7:00am. 

On Thursday we will host Grandview for SENIOR NIGHT!!!  We will celebrate our seniors at 4:30pm.  Please make every reasonable effort to be in the stands at 4:30 to celebrate the Class of 2026!!!  The meet will start at 5:30pm with the 200 Medley Relay.  Diving will start at approximately 6:15, and we will return to swimming events after diving.  

On Saturday, January 24, we will host the swimming portion of the Heritage/Littleton/Arapahoe Last Chance Meet at noon.  The diving portion of the competition will be held at Littleton High School and will start at 9:00am.  This meet largely targets swimmers and divers who do not yet have Centennial A League qualifying standards but are very close. If you are a swimmer/diver who is close to A League qual times, please reach out to your coach to have a discussion about being included in the meet.

It is hard to believe we are less than two weeks away from Centennial B League Championships, and less than three weeks away from A League.  This season is simply flying by.  Please reach out to your coaches if you have questions or concerns about the season's end!

It becomes very evident on busy weeks like the one ahead just how important our volunteers are!  Our girls are extremely lucky to have a booster club and a team full of parents who are willing to sacrifice their own time and resources to make the Arapahoe Girls Swimming and Diving Team something very special! Thank you to Booster President Megan Luft and all those who support her in making this all happen!
