Swimmers in team areas:

Each team will be assigned a specific area for their team during the meet. Coaches are responsible for all team members following COVID protocol in their team areas - masks on and social distancing.

Cafeteria:

• Mullen - Upper Cafeteria
• Cherry Creek - Middle Cafeteria
• Smoky Hill - Lower Cafeteria

West Gym:

• Arapahoe - West side bleachers (bellow buffalo logo)
• Overland - West side bleachers (north end of bleacher)
• Cherokee Trail - East side bleachers (south end of bleachers)
• Eaglecrest - East side bleachers (middle section of bleachers)
• Grandview - East side of bleachers (north end of bleachers)

Restrooms/Locker rooms:

• Both pool locker rooms are limited to 3 people at a time.
• Large restroom located outside the West Gym - 10 stalls available in girls restroom to use for changing.

Relays - Warm-ups and Seeding:

• The top 6 seeded teams will warm-up in the lane they will compete in. The 7th & 8th seeded teams will warm-up in the diving well.
• Relays will be seeded as three heats to allow for empty lanes between each team.
• Heat 1 - 7th & 8th place teams after prelims - lanes 3 & 5
• Heat 2 - 4th, 5th & 6th place teams after prelims - lanes 2, 4 & 6
• Heat 3 - 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams after prelims - lanes 1, 3 & 5
• Teams in heat 1 can’t finish higher than 7th place. Results from all 6 teams in heats 2 & 3 will be merged as if it was one Championship heat.

Individual Event Warm-up/Warm-down:

In an effort to limit any potential COVID exposure, we will rotate assigned warm-up lanes for each individual event. Lanes will be assigned to specific teams. We will rotate lanes, so that the same two teams are not aways in the diving well. Swimmers should use the same lanes for warm-down at the conclusion of the final heat each of each event

On Deck Procedure:

Deck is marked for four heats to line up, all 6 feet apart.

• Swimmers in the next heat should stay by the row of chairs closet to the pool and wait for the official to call them to the blocks before removing their masks.
• Each block has four hooks for masks to be placed on before the start of each event.
• We will play music between each heat and march the final heat out to music.

Diving - Friday, March 5, 2021 @ Arapahoe (starting at 5:00 p.m.)

• Arapahoe High School
• Diving is an 11-dive championship meet. No 6 dive option
• Follow the regular championship diving program for 11-dives:
  • Dives 1-5: 2 voluntary and 3 optional
  • Dives 6-8: 2 voluntary and 1 optional
  • Dives 9-12: 1 voluntary and 2 optional dives
• If there are more than 32 divers entered, all divers will be permitted to complete the preliminaries (5 dives)
• No more than 4 divers from a single school can compete beyond the 5th round

Diving Schedule:

• Athletes may enter the pool starting at 2:45 pm.
• Warm-up 1 - 3:00 - 4:00 pm - Cherry Creek, Cherokee Trail, Grandview
• Warm-up 2 - 4:00 - 5:00 pm - Arapahoe, Eaglecrest, Overland, Mullen, Smoky Hill
